2026: Mandatory B2B E-invoicing Croatia
The Croatian Ministry of Finance has requested an EU derogation to introduce mandatory B2B e-invoicing nationwide from 1 January 2026. To implement this, Croatia has requested the European Union to derogate Articles 218 and 232 of the 2006 VAT Directive.
The management of electronic invoice transmission will be handled through the national platform eRačun, with direct connections to the platform facilitated via Peppol.
